Council bosses, trade unions and health and social care experts have today launched a revised set of standards for employers of social care workers.

Council bosses, trade unions and health and social care experts have today launched a revised set of standards for employers of social care workers.

The new standards combine an updated set of core values covering every social worker across local authorities, the health or voluntary sector, by clearly setting out the levels of support that should be expected of those providing care for the young, old, disabled and vulnerable.
