Social workers not equipped to implement Care Act

The Care Act was implemented on April 1 and is a momentous piece of legislation for all who work in adult social care but the British Association of Social Workers has concerns.

The Care Act was implemented on April 1 and is a momentous piece of legislation for all who work in adult social care. 

The Act has very sound principles, having individualised care and a focus on an individual's wellbeing written through it.
