Solace announces new head of policy

Alex Thomson has been announced as head of policy at the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives (SOLACE).

Mr Thomson was previously chief executive of the think-tank Localis and replaces Piali Das Gupta, who will be leaving SOLACE on 8 March.
