Tensions between local and central government are starting to ease in the wake of the General Election, the president of senior officers’ organisation Solace has said.

Tensions between local and central government are starting to ease in the wake of the General Election, the president of senior officers' organisation Solace has said.

Speaking at the Solace Summit this morning, Matt Prosser said there had been ‘too much' tension ‘over the last few years' but the ‘early signs under this new Government have been positive'.
