Solving the school run

Contrary to popular opinion, active travel isn’t the only answer to school run congestion - data can help too, says Pooya Kamvari. 

Whether it's getting stuck in traffic, navigating congested roads or the unmistakable smell of air pollution, the school run affects us all. 

Blamed for 25% of morning rush hour traffic, this surge happens at the same time millions of children walk to school, culminating in children being exposed to five times more air pollution than at any other time.
