Somerset CC has become embroiled in a war of words with its business service partner, Southwest One, after the partnership reported ‘staggering' losses worth £31m.

County leader, Cllr Ken Maddock, told a meeting of the full council on 15 February that his authority had ‘bent over backwards to try to make this partnership work'.
