After a long year of leading the response to the COVID-19 pandemic, council chiefs could be forgiven for putting their feet up for a bit.

Not so for Graham Soulsby, whose job as chief executive of Kettering BC came to an end as the authority merged with neighbours to form North Northamptonshire Council.
