South Downs National Park Authority has appointed a new chief executive.

The South Downs National Park Authority has appointed Trevor Beattie as its new chief executive. He will take up his new role on 17 January 2012. Following his early career in the Department of Environment, Mr Beattie joined English Partnerships where he became corporate strategy director.
