It might take between two and three years for staff working at South Oxfordshire DC to return to work in dedicated council offices after last week's devastating blaze, the council leader has claimed.

The announcement follows last week's devastating arson attack on South Oxfordshire's offices in Crowmarsh Gifford which destroyed 85% of the building.

South Oxfordshire leader, Cllr John Cotton, said he hopes to announce a property solution next week that would enable some of the district's 400 staff to operate from a single building.
