Southampton appoints Hopkins as new chief

Southampton City Council has named Sandy Hopkins as its new chief executive. Ms Hopkins is currently chief executive of Havant BC and East Hampshire DC.

Southampton City Council has named Sandy Hopkins as its new chief executive. Ms Hopkins is currently chief executive of Havant BC and East Hampshire DC.

The new chief will take over from Richard Crouch, who has served as an interim since April following the departure of previous chief Dawn Baxendale who left to head up Birmingham City Council.
