Southend Council has published a regeneration framework to deliver 13,000 jobs by 2021.

The council revealed it was also to step up promotion of tourism activities in a bid to get more visitors.

Theo Steel, chairman of Renaissance Southend said: ‘Southend can fulfil its potential as a regional and cultural centre.'
