Troubled care home provider Southern Cross could offload as many as 200 homes in order to avoid bankruptcy, it has been claimed.

Troubled care home provider Southern Cross could offload as many as 200 homes in order to avoid bankruptcy, it has been claimed.

The future of the care homes is to be decided by the 80 landlords of Southern Cross's properties, who are currently only receiving approximately 70 pence in every pound billed in rents.
