Health secretary Andrew Lansley has confirmed that troubled care home operator Southern Cross is expected to transfer all of its properties by the end of October.
In a written statement last week, Mr Lansley said 330 homes should be transferred by the end of September and the remaining 400 homes by the end of the following month.
