Tower Hamlets LBC's Conservative group leader has urged the chief executive recruitment process to go on in the wake of mayor Lutfur Rahman being deposed.

Peter Golds told The MJ the process should be ‘expedited' after Mr Rahman's May 2014 election victory was declared void and he was barred from standing in a re-run of the poll.
