Hull City Council has admitted further staff reductions are ‘inevitable' amid efforts to bring forward £30m of spending cuts.

The council approved almost £56m of savings for the next three years in February and senior councillors will next week debate how cuts of £8m and £21m will fall in 2017/18 and 2018/19 respectively.
