Staff set to strike

Members of the GMB union employed at five household waste recycling centres in Sheffield have backed an all-out strike from 22 December.

Members of the GMB union employed at five household waste recycling centres in Sheffield have backed an indefinite, all-out strike from 22 December.

The workers made the decision after their employer, the charity Sova, failed to implement an agreement on winter hours the GMB claimed had been brokered through ACAS in October.
