A new report by the King's Fund has warned that government plans to move to community-based services could be undermined by a lack of suitable staff.

The report on the reconfiguration of clinical services said the number of district nurses in England had fallen by 40% in the last 40 years, while demand continues to rise and could grow by up to 23%.
