Standing up for the Kadens

The tragic story of Kaden Reddick and the court case that followed his death is a sad one. But as Reading Council's Katie Heath explains, it provides a strong example of how local authorities have a moral duty to ensure and uphold health and safety.

It's now five years since Kaden Reddick was killed in front of his family when a 110Kg barrier fell on him at a Topshop store in Reading.

It was the first day of half-term and Kaden had been to the cinema before visiting the outlet at the Oracle Shopping Centre.
