Stannard named new Manchester chief

Tom Stannard has been named Manchester City Council’s new chief executive.

Tom Stannard has been named Manchester City Council's new chief executive.

He has been neighbouring Salford City Council's boss for the past four years and has more than 27 years' experience in local government, including senior posts in Oldham, Wakefield, Blackburn with Darwen and London boroughs.
