We're just a few days into Keir Starmer's government, but already we may have seen the shape of things to come.

Mandatory housing targets, planning reforms, localised economic growth triggers, high-level meetings with mayors and commitments to devolve. It has been a busy first week for the local government sector and its new secretary of state, Angela Rayner!
