Rushcliffe BC's finance director, Peter Steed, has died aged 46 - days after his success at The MJ Awards as part of the winning Senior Management Team.

Mr Steed was appointed to his role within the Rushcliffe senior management team in 2012, after a successful career in finance at various local authorities including City of York, Doncaster MBC, Bassetlaw DC, North Lincolnshire Council and Oxford City Council, as well as a senior role within Lincolnshire Police.
