Wyre Forest BC is backing a local healthy walking scheme which has renewed its accreditation through Walking for Health, a joint initiative between Natural England and the Department of Health.

Walkin' Wyre is able to operate a referral system, in partnership with Fylde Coast YMCA and NHS North Lancashire, where GPs and health practitioners can refer a person on to the scheme in order to improve their physical activity, and improve health through walking.
