Swansea City and CC's head of child and family services is leaving to take up a senior post in England.

Steve Walker, who joined the council in November 2008, has been named as the new deputy director for children's services with Leeds City Council. During the past three years, he has been instrumental in leading the improvement in Swansea's child and family services.
