Stirling Council has denied it plans to make frontline staff redundant to balance its budget.

The SNP-led Scottish authority is carrying out a review of management and administration posts, purchasing arrangements, and improvements to adult and children's social care.

It has agreed to the closure of two care homes, but claims this will not lead to compulsory redundancies.
