Stoke-on-Trent City Council chief executive, John van de Laarschot, is on ‘extended leave’ while the authority launches a review of senior management.

Stoke-on-Trent City Council chief executive, John van de Laarschot, is on ‘extended leave' while the authority launches a review of senior management.

Mr van de Laarschot has held the role at the Staffordshire town hall since 2009 yet will now be away from his desk for two weeks while the investigation takes place.
