Stoke-on-Trent City Council chief executive John van de Laarschot has stepped down after a period of extended leave.

Stoke-on-Trent City Council chief executive John van de Laarschot has stepped down after a period of extended leave.

The announcement was made after a special full council meeting last night, where the local authority revealed it would be undertaking a full review of senior management and introducing a new structure from 1 April 2016.
