Third sector groups have called for the Social Value Act to be strengthened to ensure more public sector organisations embed it in their procurement processes.

In a response to the Government's recent Social Value Act review, the National Association for Community and Voluntary Action (NAVCA) said it was concerned about the ‘gulf' between authorities, which have adopted the Act's principles and those which had not.
