A lack of post-hospital care is preventing stroke survivors from making the best-possible recovery, the Stroke Association warned this week.

A report, published on 1 May, found more than one-third of stroke survivors (38%) had not had their health and care needs adequately assessed, while more than half (53%) of people who had suffered a stroke in the last three years had been assessed only once.
