Suffolk CC has appointed a permanent director to lead service improvements and efficiency savings in its adult and community services directorate.

Anna McCreadie, who has held the post on an interim basis since April 2010, having stepped up from the position of service director, is a nurse by profession, and between 2004 and 2007, was executive director and chief nurse at Waveney PCT.
