Suffolk Coastal district's first citizen

New chairman elected for local council district.

Richard Kerry has officially become Suffolk Coastal district's first citizen, after he was elected chairman of the local council.

Cllr Kerry will be chairman of the district authority for the next 12 months, taking over the post from Cllr Joan Sennington. He represents Trimleys with Kirton, having first been elected to the council in 2007.
