Suffolk CC has appointed Deborah Cadman as its new permanent chief executive.

Ms Cadman brings with her 28 years' public sector experience, six years of which was as chief executive at St Edmundsbury BC. She is currently chief executive at the East of England Development Agency, where in 2010/11 she supported the creation of 8,800 jobs and 2,800 new businesses in the east.
