The pioneering shared services partnership between Suffolk Coastal and Waveney DCs is now set to save at least £4.5m by March 2015, and this figure is constantly increasing.

Shared strategic director, Stephen Archer, left at the end of August to take up a more senior role with Aberdeenshire Council. Mr Archer's departure has enabled both councils to further reduce the size and cost of their shared management team.
