Suffolk CC plans next week to announce its preferred bidder to take over the management 16 local care homes and eight wellbeing centres.

The county received 23 expressions of interest from service-providers after it revealed plans to outsource the services. Staff, residents and council representatives then later visited facilities run by three shortlisted firms.
