Support has been garnered for closing streets on Sundays for children's play, after health minister, Anne Milton, called the policy ‘an outstanding idea'.

Speaking at a debate in Westminster, Ms Milton said the concept could assist with childhood health and obesity issues, ahead of a strategy due to be launched by the Department of Health in the summer.
