Surrey defends chief executive's bonus

Surrey CC's leader has defended a decision to award the local authority's chief executive a £100,000 bonus.

Surrey CC's leader has defended a decision to award the local authority's chief executive a £100,000 bonus.

Cllr David Hodge said the bonus for top officer David McNulty will be linked to strict performance criteria, although it still needs to be signed off by the cabinet.
