Surrey leader backs calls for infrastructure minister

The leader of Surrey CC has called for the Government to create a minister for infrastructure.

The leader of Surrey CC has called for the Government to create a minister for infrastructure before any decision is made on expanding either Heathrow or Gatwick airports.

Speaking at an aviation conference, Cllr David Hodge said an infrastructure secretary could ‘take charge of this important agenda'.
