Survey counters Pickles' bins guidance

Calls for more frequent bin collections have been ignored by local authorities, according to the results of a new survey.

Calls for more frequent bin collections have been ignored by local authorities, according to the results of a new survey.

The survey by the Press Association discovered not a single local authority of more than 100 that replied had decided to increase bin collections. In fact, 11 were moving to alternate collections in response to budget cuts.
