Personal care budgets have a positive impact on people’s lives, according to a survey by the charity In Control.

Personal care budgets have a positive impact on people's lives, according to a survey by the charity In Control.

The third sector group, in partnership with Lancaster University's Centre for Disability Research, questioned more than 2,000 people for the 2011 National Personal Budget Survey. The survey found that personal budgets had a positive effect on many people's lives, and helped them stay independent.
