The results of a Care Quality Commission (CQC)survey can play a leading role in informing the Government's ‘No health without mental health' strategy to improve community mental health services, it has been claimed.

Responses from 17,000 service-users across 65 NHS mental health trusts revealed they received specialist support from out-patient clinics, home treatments teams, assertive outreach and generic community mental health services, outside of hospital.
