The chief inspector of social care has admitted mistakes were made in the Care Quality Commission’s (CQC) initial approach to local systems reviews.

The chief inspector of social care has admitted mistakes were made in the Care Quality Commission's (CQC) initial approach to local systems reviews.

Speaking at the National Children and Adult Services Conference today, Andrea Sutcliffe, said her organisation ‘got some things wrong,' with the CQC addressing its first letter to the areas involved to the chief executive of the local authority.
