Responding to a new report by the UCL Institute of Health Equity, which revealed widening gaps in life expectancy rates, Richard Webb, honorary secretary of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS), said more needs to be done to ‘improve health and overcome barriers to people being able to make healthier choices in their lives'.
