Talking about poor performance

I spent part of Monday with a group of future managerial leaders. One of their concerns was how to deal with underperformance. It’s both not easy and a key issue. Poorly managed performance wastes resources, time, opportunity and people’s careers. It’s not good for customers. It’s a poor show for everyone.

Yet it seems to be one of those areas that leaders struggle with.
