Think tank: LGPS scheme 'mismanaged'

Immediate structural reforms need to be made to the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) to avoid ‘terminal decline’, a Westminster think-tank urged today.

Immediate structural reforms need to be made to the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) to avoid ‘terminal decline', a Westminster think-tank urged yesterday.

The Centre for Policy Studies said the ‘mismanaged' LGPS was an ‘embarrassment to Britain'.
