The taxman cometh

Stephen Williams became the Lib Dem minister in DCLG in last autumn’s reshuffle. Jonathan Werran talks with him.

Stephen Williams is the new Lib Dem minister at the DCLG. He is MP for Bristol West, an area encompassing the historic city's much-vaunted Clifton area as well as the university.

He replaced Don Foster, the outgoing MP for the nearby constituency of Bath, who was appointed Liberal Democrat chief whip in last autumn's reshuffle.
