Taylor made for job

Lord Taylor of Goss Moor, has been asked to lead a government review to streamline 6,000 pages of planning practice guidance.

The chair of the National Housing Federation, Lord Taylor of Goss Moor, has been asked to lead a government review to streamline 6,000 pages of planning practice guidance.

Joining Lord Taylor, who was MP for Truro and St Austell from 1987 to 2010, are Cllr Mike Jones, leader of Cheshire West and Chester Council; Simon Marsh, from the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds; Trudi Elliott, from the Royal Town Planning Institute; and Andrew Whitaker from the Home Builders Federation.
