Seven out of 10 secondary school teachers fear their students will end up on benefits, according to new research by the Prince's Trust.

According to the survey, published last week, one in three teachers feel their efforts are ‘in vain' because of the economic climate and rising levels of unemployment – with more than half predicting their students will end up unemployed.
