Placemaking is a vital part of community development, focusing on building inclusive and sustainable communities for everyone. Taking this place-based approach to services is evolving into a mix of physical and virtual, as local government adapts to both technological advances and demand from citizens.

But what does this really look like for today's councils? Moving from our current ‘place' to a future model must consider vital factors such as changing populations, climate shift and increased urbanisation.
