Tees Valley combined authority created

The Tees Valley combined authority has formally come into existence but the area continues to negotiate with the Government over a future devolution deal.

The Tees Valley combined authority has formally come into existence but the area continues to negotiate with the Government over a future devolution deal.

Legislation to establish the authority was passed earlier this month after a debate in which local MPs complained about the devolution deal on offer.
