Telford & Wrekin Council has appointed Angie Astley as its new executive director of housing, communities and customer services as part of a restructure of the authority's senior management team.

Ms Astley moves up from her post as director for neighbourhood and enforcement services, having joined Telford & Wrekin in 2005 and working for more than 20 years in various roles at Sandwell MBC
