The leader of Telford and Wrekin Council has ruled out any prospect of merging with Shropshire Council in the future.

Speaking to The MJ, Cllr Kuldip Sahota, said members voted in favour of a motion last week, which stated that ‘there are no circumstances where a single Shropshire Council would be to the advantage of the residents of Telford and Wrekin'.
